Julie, Peter, and I spent a wintry afternoon a few weeks back traipsing around Portsmouth, which, it turns out, isn’t any less charming when it’s frigid than when it’s flowery. Or maybe it was this couple’s warm, easygoing vibe that carried the day: their obvious connection and plentiful smiles made my job a breeze.
They met in England, where they both studied history—so, imagine these two falling in love while exploring castles and regal British manors together. Nice! Towards the end of this shoot you’ll see a photo of Peter & Julie in the middle of the intersection at the very center of Portsmouth; this image was taken just before a police officer told me in no uncertain fashion to cut it out. What, lying down in front of traffic is against the rules now? ‘Tis the dangerous life of a wedding photographer: one must do what one must do, to get the shot.
Julie and Peter, I had a really great time getting to know you both, can’t wait for your wedding this December, and can’t wait to share the rest of the pics from this shoot!
